PSG Transfer News: Paul Pogba Fee Named Amid Rumours of Juventus Agreement

Unknown     23:04

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have reportedly agreed an €80 million fee for the transfer of France midfielder Paul Pogba.

That’s according to an exclusive report from Goal, which claims a bid has been accepted by the Bianconeri but that there is “no guarantee” the player will decide to make the switch from Italy to the French capital.

The piece claims meetings have already taken place between PSG officials and the 22-year-old’s representatives:

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi met with Pogba and his representatives in Monte Carlo earlier this week but a financial package for the player was not agreed.

And it is understood Pogba is willing to bide his time and evaluate other offers which he believes will come his way this summer.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with the Frenchman, per Nicholas McGee of Goal, who has grown into one of the best midfielders in the world this season.
Here’s a closer examination of why Pogba is in demand with so many illustrious names:

It seems PSG have stolen a march on the rest of the player’s potential suitors, however. Indeed, as noted by the piece, the club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has already admitted there has been contact with the player.

“Why did I talk with Pogba? Because he’s a great talent, he’s French, from Paris even,” he told French media. “That said all the big clubs want him.”
